Whew. Deep breaths.
It's been a little over a year since I first opened my Etsy shop, and while I'm so so so grateful for the traffic and orders I gained from that marketplace, I finally decided it was time to see what Meadow & Mae can do on its own.
Truth be told, I wasn't sure I was ready to take this step. Moving from a platform where everything is built out for you and customers are already there to shop for handmade goods to a stand-alone website that you have to build from scratch is a huge change.
But it also feels exhilarating. I've always had a passion for web design and graphics, and being able to push myself in that area has been more fulfilling than I expected.
I've got a lot of thoughts on this stage of my business and, since I'm a woman of many words, you can expect a lot more later. But for now, welcome to meadowandmae.com. It feels so real to write that here.
I can't wait to see what else I can do.
